  • Comments: The only "ding" I might make is I wished there was a porta potty before miie 5. I tend to go sometime during the first 3 miles and that's it. I was actually worried there was no porta potty and I was eyeing the bushes on the side of the road. I saw several guys do that. There was a 3 minute line at the first pot at mile 5....so that took 3 minutes which was a drag. The second potty stop I used was at 9 or 10 and it was super quick no problems.

  • Comments: This is my 2nd year doing the Maryland Half Marathon. It is a great race to jump start the season, the weather is always decent temperature wise, and it is always well organized. I love the race, love their charity, and love charm city run! It is definitely a staple in my race calendar.

  • Comments: This is definitely a good, well-organized race. It's a fun environment, nice and small, and in a good community (mine). The crowd support was a bit smaller this year compared to last, mainly due to the wether I think. The medals are cool, and the shirts are OK. They are UA, but for some reason the neck is cut really small. I had to strech the hole just to get my head in (while B laughed at me). Oh well. The post race food was plentiful and good, and the band sounded pretty good as well.

  • Comments: The race itself was great. Plenty of volunteers, a great atmosphere, and a fun time. The race starts and ends in my neighborhood, so I'll admit I'm partial. A funny story: the golden-doodle Dozer who has received so much media attention ran by me after I had finished. I tried to catch him because he obviously was lost and didn't belong on the course. I'm glad I wasn't able, since he has raised tens of thousands for cancer research!
