  • Comments: The race itself was fine. The athlete briefing should have been done earlier. We had to walk a mile to the start and the briefing got over around 7:45am and our swim started at 8am. As we were walking a race guy came by on a bike yelling at us to hurry up--well, geez, then hold the briefing earlier!

  • Comments: This race went as well as can be expected with the last minute swim change. I wasn't too jazzed about the added run, but I think it mirrored what my time would've been with an ow swim.
