  • Comments: Overall this was a good race. Yes the water is cold but not so much that you can't swim in it. We were deffinately fortunate to get the race in before the storms rolled in. There were multiple tornadoes that came through the Raleigh area later in the afternoon. I used this race as a training block. My "A" race is my 1st HIM in 4 weeks.

  • Comments: First triathlon so I don't have anything to compare it to. I thought it was a great race and overall very fun. People were very supportive; appreciate all the encouragement.

  • Comments: Lots of volunteers, and they were VERY encouraging, especially to someone who was having a miserable day.
