  • Comments: Great race. Well organized, especially for the first one. There were plenty on volunteers, cold towels on the run, water station on the bike leg, most small races don't have these amenities. From a spectators point of view, my wife thought that this was one of the easiest races to see your athlete. Lake End Park turned out to be a great spot to hold a race. Hopefully Lisa and Charlie hold this race every year.

  • Comments: This was only my second race. It was great to get a chance to do an open water swim and I realize how tough these can be. I was happy with my performance. I didn't do much training in the summer due to a hurt knee and back, but hopefully I can stay healthy and put in the training hours required to do a little better in the future.
