  • Comments: really great course, featuring the best of downtown madison- lakes, campus, the Arboretum. I marked "easy course" because it didn't really feel hard, but I know some people might think it hilly. The fact that it was overcast was also a HUGE gift. Great bands along the way, great band and party at the end at the terrace, one of my favorite places in the world. Lots of nice people. I love racing! Thank you to all of my BT friends who have taught me how to train smart, race smart, have fun, and to keep my eyes on the prize, which is- fitness and fun FOR LIFE.

  • Comments: This was a great race, well organized and fun. If I do another half in the next couple years, I would pick this one over the Madison half.

  • Comments: The only things I would improve for next year would be the addition of more porta potties before the race and also along the course - I never needed to stop, but if I did, most lines were 5-6 people deep. Also, the 10 mile mark was way off and I heard another one was as well. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and we only stayed to hear one song from the post race band at the union. Too cold - wish they could have moved them to the front of the union somewhere since no one stuck around. Overall it was a great race - I attained my goal as did my husband and my friend, Jill. No complaints there!

  • Comments: Great venue from start and finish line. The course was so scenic and really a great course for new and seasoned runners alike. Madison, WI is truly, truly beautiful! Good luck all you IMMoo athletes. Looked for wavedog but never saw him finish, stayed and cheered everyone else on to the Finish Line. Saw trainergirlmick finish with her awesome pink cape! Plus, Stu from the Simply Stu Podcast was the MC. He was awesome!
