• Comments: This was my third time completing this race. I love the Iron Girl, but I just really was not prepared for it this year. I was on the fence as to whether or not to even race this year, but my daughter convinced me I should go. I was happy I did it - I just wish I had done the work necessary to finish strong instead of just finishing. Lessons learned.

• Comments: It's funny I'm not a big fan or feel the need to race in women's only tris. But this is a great race and provides wonderful support for so many causes. There were a lot of heart warming stories of survival, battling terrible odds and perseverance. And if these races give women the confidence to get out there and compete in a triathlon then purpose served. I felt very fortunate to be me and have the ability to race. The Columbia group does a great job putting on a race. I want to come back.

• Comments: I had a wonderful time and will definitely do this again next year. I did even better than I had hoped. I was aiming for a 3:00 finish and I beat it by 16 minutes. I can't complain.

• Comments: Race in Columbia's Centennial Park is always a treat - wonder why I subject myself to the hills when it's clearly not my strong suit, but it's the "home" park, with the local club there..., and that's a great vibe to race for. at the end of the day, i need to remain focused on the cause that i race for, and the fact that finishing is a win, period, for both myself & UCF, and feel good about that. most of the time, i even believe it! :)

• Comments: Great venue! Inspiring racers! I was pleased with all of my times but that last transition. I can expect to shave a couple of minutes off of each area next year now that I know how hard to push. I definitely had a little more effort left in me!
