  • Comments: My first half..really my first race longer than a 5K. Had an absolute blast. It was much harder than I anticipated, but there was a nice finish line there to make us forget how hard the last few miles were.

  • Comments: Overall I am very happy with my performance. I know I could have done better with a good nights rest. We were on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the room above us was making noise all night long. I think I got 3 maybe 4 hours of sleep. Hotel also did not have any breakfast ready when they promised they would. Good thing I was up and out the door early so I could find breakfast. I wanted to finish in under 2 hours and I did so I am happy, but the last half of the race was brutal due to limited sleep.
