  • Comments: Great race. Beautiful venue. There were not a huge amount of competitors. I would definitely do this race again. They say it's the "Best kept secret" in the St. Louis area. I definitely have to agree. Perfect early season race.

  • Comments: 3D puts on a good race. They were super organized this year, all the waves were on time, no timing issues, great support on the course, good after race food, and nice shirts, medals, awards. I would recommend their races to anyone.

  • Comments: A good overall operation. Well run. Good helpers. Nice area and a nice course. Good sub sandwiches after the race. I would recommend it to anyone interested.

  • Comments: The swim, bike, and run courses are nice, flat and fast. 1863 events (3disciplines in MI) did a fantastic job. They were well organized, walked the newbies through the process, were extremely friendly and available for questions, warned everyone about the heat, said they would have plenty of cold drinks and were bringing extra ice, and they did. They organized the local parks department, police, army corp of engineers, etc to make sure every turn, high traffic area, etc had a race "official" present. This was the second year for the Carlyle IL Sprint and Olympic tri and I highly recommend it.

  • Comments: Could have used another aid station on the sprint run course. They didn't know it was gonna be this hot, so a 0930 race start time wasn't good. They promised to move it earlier next year.

  • Comments: Post race they had cookies, crackers, watermelon and sub sandwiches. Also lots of cold water and Gatorade which was needed considering the weather. Overall, I enjoyed the race and would love to do it again next year.
