  • Comments: Love this race, and may have to tri again! Oh, and at the end of the race, my daughter and I were in the pool...My left foot was still bugging me so I touched it and felt a lump. I thought maybe I had a pebble in there....NOPE. I RAN 13.1 MILES WITH A PIECE OF FREAKING GLASS IN MY FOOT. So, now, I can look back at that experience for perspective when I am suffering on the run.

  • Comments: Overall I thought this was a great early season race. It was my first 70.3 but relative to the DC-area triathlons, it was significantly better. DC tris won't even start up until mid-April so I was able to get a pretty good jump on my training for the year.

  • Comments: “Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.” -Steven Wright This race was such a learning experience on so many levels. I learned a TON about myself, my training, and my racing... and not just at this distance. I look for my second HIM to be a LOT stronger :)

  • Comments: This was a great race. Of course, it was made even better since there WERE chocolate chip cookies at the finish, which is a major concern of mine. I would do this again, and it has me motivated for my next one in 3 weeks.

  • Comments: I loved this race and will definitely do it next year. The volunteers were amazing, the course was gorgeous and challenging and when you finish you're in puerto rico! I would use tribike transport again in a heartbeat. I think I'd also stay at the Hilton next year (we stayed at another hotel in Condado instead, and walking back and forth was a pain).

  • Comments: A great race, the most scenic course I ever did, period. I'm coming back for sure, with more hills under the belt though.

  • Comments: The Race was great. It was run really well. There were 1000 volunteers for a race of 1600 or 1800. I still don't know the total number on the race
