  • Events on time?Yes

  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Below average
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: Not a bad local race - biggest issue for me was there were no porta-johns on course near the course - so you had to go way off the course to find one. Otherwise, well organized, nice swag, and decent course.

  • Comments: Overall a good race. A little boring that the course was out and back, but it worked. Nice race shirt as swag. Also got a hat, but I don't wear hats. The pre-post race activities were nice. Better than usual. Pizza. Banana's. Watermelon. Beer. My only complaint- NO COLD WATER! The water on the course, hot. The water after the race, hot. No water at the finish line even. Had to hunt some HOT water down. I know this race is all about "being hot" but really, did we need to drink hot water too? Probably not.

  • Comments: This was the largest race I have ever attended. It felt as if the vendors were a little crammed up. The director started to read the race results of the 5k, while the 15k finishers came in. It was very hard to hear. At the race site, only the overall race results were posted, not age group. On the website, all results were correctly posted by the end of the next day.
