  • Comments: One of my favorite races. They were only about five minutes late starting the swim, so no biggie there. DQ does a nice job.

  • Comments: Really like this race, and DQ deserves a big shout out for their efforts and abilities in bringing these things off safely and enjoyably.

  • Comments: Can't rate the post-race activities because I didn't see them! They normally have them around the finish line but there was nothing there but water. TSW and I figured they didn't have any post-race activities because the neighborhood wanted the crowds off the beach and gone. Then we come to find out they were at the other end of transition and we missed all the goodies! A little less organized at the beginning than DQ normally is resulted in a slightly late start. But pretty good overall. A good race, and one I'll do again.

  • Comments: The race was nicely set up. The transition area was setup with more than enough bike racks to everyone was nicely spread out. Plenty of volunteers marking the course. Bike was in a low traffic area.

  • Comments: I WAS ONLY 40 SECONDS BEHIND FIRST 3RD PLACE WOMAN-UGH....WISH I WEN A LITTLE FASTER ON BIKE, THOUGHT i HAD A GOOD SWIM FOR ME-BUT APPARENTLY NOT AFTER LOOKING AT THE SWIM TIME-OH WELL.

  • Comments: I really liked the race. It was a perfect first race. The setting was lovely. I never rode or went on the course but the place it was done was very nice. The race was a little unorganized with transition but other than that it was great, especially since it was the first annual triathlon. There was a lot of great competitors there that were supportive as well as the crowd. Crowd support was at the swim out/run out/finish line. On the bike course there were a few people cheering outside their houses. Everyone was really great and nice. They were all very encouraging. I would definitely recommend this race for a first timer and maybe return again next year.
