  • Comments: Great race. I've made it 3 of the first 4 years and they really do a great job. Excellent post race food and drinks. Gulf Coast Tri Team took top 8 places and everyone made the podium either overall or age group.

  • Comments: I have done this race 2x and both times blown away by the number of volunteers, the friendliness of the race organizers and volunteers, and how well done and well thought out every aspect of the race is. Very dissappointed in the decision for no race day packet pick up - since we drive 2+ hours each way to race and nearest packet pick-up location was 1 1/2 hours from home. Would love to at least see them add Fairhope location - would save an hour at least.

  • Comments: This is a great little race. My only beef is the shirts are NEON ORANGE. Like... NEON. I guess they wanted them to stand out, and they do. Other than that, the swag bag is awesome, lots of samples, a pair of socks, and a water bottle. The course is well laid out, well marked with volunteers at every turn, transition is large and secure and the registration and packet pickup is organized. Overall I would recommend this race to anyone. Post race food is good too, fruit, bars, waffle house, raising canes chicken fingers, snow cones and beer.

  • Comments: This was my first tri ever. I'm not fast and probably never will be, but I sure had fun. The event organizers are extremely friendly and supportive of ALL the athletes, from seasoned to first timers. They hold group swims on the course two weeks before the race, group rides, etc. They had some awesome raffle items after the race, from a tri bike to goody bags. I think most people who stayed left with at least something. As for me, I have PLENTY of room for improvement. Hopefully, I'll do a little better next year.

  • Comments: Great race. This is the 2nd year of the race and they have done a great job both years. Lots of volunteers, good swag, super post race party/activities. Only suggestion would be to post results as they become available rather than waiting until awards are done. Will be back next year. Everything I look for in a race.

  • Comments: tons of volunteers, very organized, well marked and monitored course. This was a first class race and one of the best organized races i have ever done. Post race was good, results were fast. The only complaint was door prizes. They had so many, it took an hour to give them all away and we didn't win any.

  • Comments: This race was really impressive for a first time event. The neighborhood was really welcoming, and its really exciting to me because I'm in the local area. I'm looking forward to continuing to participate for years to come. I'm sure this event will grow considerably next year as I didn't hear any complaints and everyone seemed ready to sign up for next year. This was, and should continue to be a great way to start Tri Season!

  • Comments: Best. Goodie bag. Ever. Two water bottles, samples galore, tickets to the water park, coupons and a very nice tech shirt. I'm impressed. This was the first time this race has been held and it was fantastic. All of the volunteers did a great job, everything was organized, the race started on time and went super smooth. I thanked all of the volunteers on the bike course for standing there. The water on the run course was nice and cold and there was plenty of it for us BOPers. It saved my run. This event is on my calendar every year they offer it.

  • Comments: First time event. Everything was outstanding. Small field but a great early season race in a pretty setting north of Biloxi. Nice goody bag with shirt, socks, a couple of water bottles and the ususal gels and coupons. Tons of food, drinks, music and covered seating at the finish line. Race results posted quickly. Volunteers were great. Lots of good prizes in the post race raffle. Very well done. Will definitely keep it on the calendar for next year. Fun event.
