  • Comments: This was a great race overall. It was well organized, lots of volunteers available, and a great announcer (I don't know how he still had a voice by the next day). The food after was delicious. I do wish there had been an aid station or two on the bike out, but also should have just brought my own stuff for between the bike and run.

  • Comments: In a word, this race was awesome. The venue was beautiful, we had great weather, the town supported us completely. Tons of volunteers, decent swag (shirt AND socks), good food afterwards. It's also a nice place for fans...good visuals for the race plus they can signt-see a little if they want. Contemplating Waterman's Half in the fall...same venue, more or less same weather.

  • Comments: Setup always puts on great events. Like Maritime though, I was a little surprised at the lack of security around the transition area.

  • Comments: Nice race - easy course. Well run and good place to bring the family since there is a little beach and a some town all close. I would come back again.

  • Comments: Water station on back side wasn't very accessible to runners. Poor turnaround control. Post race was kinda crappy. horrible music. No beer. No vendors. Dogs drinking out of the kiddie pools containign the drinks. Not enough cold drinks. Otherwise great race. This was my first Olympic distance race, and I just had back surgery so I only resumed exercising 6weeks ago.......so, although my rankings are poor, I was very happy with completing and with my time.

  • Comments: many course changes event staff had to inform of, apparently not enough direction on bike course (some people got lost), was a good race.

  • Comments: Setup does great races! My problems were of my own making (forgetting stuff, losing stuff, whatever was going on w/ that run). The course was well marked, and mostly as advertised. I even heard AFTER the race that a bunch of volunteers hadn't showed up, but it NEVER affected the race. I didn't notice anything off while racing.
