  • Comments: Great small race, and my first podium finish. Without the swim issues I would have been thrilled. Still happy with 2/3rds of my race though.

  • Comments: Very nice organizers. First time they held this race, so some aspects were a little rough around the edges, but very friendly course/environment for folks new to the sport. I'm sure any small snags will be worked out in the future. Post-race food was great. The lake is PERFECT for those getting used to open water swimming. All in all, I highly recommend it, especially for those looking for a low-stress sprint distance race to try.
