  • Comments: Swim course was crowded/confusing. Bike roads were concrete with several holes, but good challenge. All in all a pretty good race course. Will feel more comfortable next time. Thought there should have been some loud music playing.

  • Comments: Lots going on. Lots of volunteers. I have to admit I should have volunteered on Sunday. Awards ceremony was a joke. Too many races and it took forever.

  • Comments: The transition was good unlike at stonebridge, and the bike had enought people to let you know where to go. Only peeve was the swim distance/course was off. Will definitely do it again next year if it fits into my schedule.

  • Comments: I thought it was a good race. I think they had some organization problems in the first wave of the swim, but other than that it seemed to go well. Looking at the numbers from all the other events they had, I'm wondering if it was worth it. Maybe next year they can just concentrate on the Sprint and things will be a little less hectic.

  • Comments: Overall a great, well organized race. I would do it again. Tri Play did a wonderful job of putting this together. I would also like to thank all of the volunteers! You guys make the race happen. My only suggestion for next year would be to have the awards AT the race site, versus in the hotel. That was confusing and Ashley had to go get her hardware after it was done.

  • Comments: This race was good for me. It showed me that I can finish strong, even when things aren't going my way. But more than anything, it showed me that I am in the right place. If bad things can happen and I can still look back, be relatively happy with my performance, and want to get back out there and do it again, I know that the triathlon is for me!

  • Comments: They got the broad strokes right; the run & bike segments were well-marked & such. However, they could have done a better job with the pre-race meeting & with explaining the swim course. There was a lot of confusion amongst the racers as to who went where on the swim course.

  • Comments: Overall a good race with TONS of events going on simultaneously. I was shocked at how well everything seemed to go given that there were so many events going on at once. The volunteers were great and lined the route pointing the way.

  • Comments: Well I got the first one done. After thinking about it, listening to the others talk and looking at the times I'm really proud of my swim, not just the time but the whole swim. I didnt' get nervous, keep my stroke as smooth as it usually is for me, sighted ok. Overall I had fun, learned alot, and can see where I need to improve, I went to the Expo saw a couple of people that recognized me from the Luke's tent.

  • Comments: Good race overall. Lots of events going on, so the bike course was pretty crowded with all sorts of ability levels, so that made it hard to navigate on the bike.

  • Comments: Almost no food for the athletes. I really felt like they skimped here. Just oranges and half-bananas.
