  • Comments: All that chasing Ryan was fun and a motivator, but we ended up getting chanced down from behind by Dime! Naturally, in retrospect, I regret helping Dime get into the race at the last minute. I honestly thought the course was short enough that he wouldn’t be able to bridge the swim times. He did it in style and crushed us! Not even close, showing his superiority!

  • Comments: This is a low key race. It sells out quickly and I got in by getting a little help from Jason (greyhound - 3rd place today!) and a very nice race director... I just wanted to practice transitions and race on tired legs. This was perfect. However, I didn't think I would take the overall win! I admit that I looked at last years results and I was aware of who won it and what his time was so I sort of knew what I would have to do... In fact I beat last years winning time too so that is cool!

  • Comments: I had a great first triathlon experience. I am so glad my girlfriend turned me on to this sport. I loved racing! This race was in my hometown, so it was close and I knew a lot of people. It was very well organized, however, my heat started a little later than scheduled and the awards started kind of late. It was really great to be able to get in free to the water park (where we finished the race) - my daughter had a blast swimming while we relaxed by the pool. Many people asked why we were marked up and congratulated us when we told them why. I feel more confident in the swim - even though I'm still no expert, I know I can do it as long as I take the time to train. My goal for the next 5 weeks before the Danskin tri, is to ride more, run more, swim more, and get a few open water swims under my belt. I'm ready!!!!

  • Comments: Awesome race - great volunteers and very well run. I would do it again. My goal was 3:02 and I came in at 2:55:42, so although I missed out on 3rd place in my AG by seconds, I still had a really good race. For my first Olympic distance and my 3rd triathlon, I was very happy with it. Now give me a sprint!

  • Comments: First time event and they aced it. It was a small race, but the post race was above average, the water stations were plentiful, and they had enough support so I have nothing to complain about here. You can always count on the folks in peachtree city to do it up right.I plan on doing this race again next year.

  • Comments: They really put on a great race. Plenty of aid stations, great course, lots of volunteers, excellent post race. My only gripes are the positioning of volunteers on the run course at intersections and the lack of miles markers on the run course.
