  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?

  • Lots of volunteers to help?No
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Below average
  • Overall course based on my ability: Too easy

  • Comments: My rating is probably not fair since I wasn't really expecting much from the bike and run, this was really to test my swim in a river in prep for IM Louisville. Volunteers seemed a little scarce, crowd support was non-existent however Pihrana still puts on a good race, i might be back to swim the river again.

  • Comments: Too late in the day 11:45 start with an arrival at 8:30 it killed the entire day. The wind on the bike made this a much harder race than we expected

  • Comments: All in all, this was a fun race and a great opening salvo to my Triathlon dream weekend. The 2nd phase was spectating at Eagleman on Sunday. I had one friend doing the race with me, and two more there to support. We all shared a suite at a hotel the night before, and it was like spring break again. A pure blast. I did learn that I'd rather compete as an age grouper from now on, and not try to compete as a Clydesdale anymore. In the near future, I will not be able to compete in either classification, but I had SOOO much more fun racing when I knew that transition wouldn't be empty, the finish line would still be populated, and food would still be hot when I got done.

  • Comments: Good race venue and was well organize despite the difficult logistics they had to overcome. The water quality was concerning. Good post-race food. I would have given anything for a quick massage on the hamstring that was tight, but they didn't have anyone doing them.
