  • Comments: I thought the race was great. Very well marked courses and Transition area. The fact you could stand the entire out portion of the swim course was a little odd and may be a turn off for some serious competitors, but for those of us weekend hacks it was a nice relief. If I was staying in the area for more than a few months I would add this to my annual schedule.

  • Comments: Very well organized and run. Tons of volunteers and everyone was fantastic. Would like to see them figure out a better run and swim course. I'll be back next year.

  • Comments: Great swag for this event. Nice shirt and a purple workout towel that was worth the entry. Also, the ability to do an event on the Marine Corp base was very nice. Well done event by the MCM organizers.

  • Comments: MCM always puts on great events, and this was no exception despite the rain and it being the inaugural year for the race. Wish the swim and bike had been longer and they didn't use 10 year age groups for awards, but otherwise this was a very well executed inaugural race.
