  • Comments: Had a great time for my first race of the season. I bike and run felt good, and I now know areas I need to improve. Place in Age group after each interval Swim - 38th T1 - 30th Bike - 24th T1 - 28th Run - 36th

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race, it's a good course, the venue is wonderful, and the race team seem to be really good people. The weather was MUCH better than last year, thanks to Mother Nature for getting the order correct!!! It does seem like perhaps the theme for this race was "behind time"... a little late for packet pick-up and the bags weren't even stuffed yet, buoys didn't go out until maybe 30 minutes before the start, then the starts were a few minutes late... I do believe that this will become an annual race for me :)

  • Comments: I would really like to see the transition area closed to spectators. Also a main path back to the cars was a narrow path also used by the first 1/4 mile of the run. Some of the spectators and athletes who were finished weren't very considerate of the runners who were still competing. I think that it would be best to close that path to none athlete traffic. Otherwise the event was fun and well organized. I'm not fond of the duck pond, but for an early season open water swim, it was worth doing. I will probably do it again next year.

  • Comments: Loved the location. Was a good place to tri for the first time. More preparation and training could result in 20-30 minute time reduction.
