  • Comments: Love this race. It is great to have family around; I know my kids are well cared for while I race, and my husband always helps ease the nerves. Having my son come out and cheer me on at the finish is more than I can ask. Until I am swimming under a minute for a 100 (ha, ha, ha) he will always think I am slacking. I will drive from NJ to do it next year. Enjoy the moms in (slow) motion for the month Dex, and thanks for the incentive on the run.

  • Comments: I really enjoy this event. It was my first tri 4 years ago. THe number of people I've met and enjoy being friends with is great. Thanks you Y and Willie for coming down and cheering me along with a lot of other people along the way. Every time in transition and every turn of the run I heard my name. I have to bow to Mike. But getting closer. I have to run Moms in Motion avatar for month since sis beat me on the run. Now look for a Doggy Du next year.

  • Comments: I loved this course, even though it was my first one and I don't have anything to compare it to. It was everything I could have imagined my first triathlon to be.

  • Comments: Great race, though it would be nice to be able to get into the transition area in the 2 hours before the race starts, or at least have a secure area to keep stuff you might need to use then. Warmer water would be nice, too :).

  • Comments: A good race as usual. They were laser focused on getting the waves started on time this year and it worked. Very impressive. The course improvements over the years are working well. Very good management and security in transition. I don't understand why they were yelling at people to get bags out of the transition area and literally threatening over a megaphone that if you have a bag in transition it might not be there when you finish the race. What are you supposed to do with your gear bag? Bring it back to your car? The parking isn't close. That just created stress and confusion that no one needed literally minutes before transition closes. Disallowing 5 gallon buckets makes sense, those can roll and be a hazard. But gear bags? The food was so-so, which was surpring. It's usually much better. I have one other way it could be improved: faster results online. That's really a Score-This thing. They're a top notch race production company but they really are slow about getting race
