  • Comments: Great Race. Close to home and always friendly to new athletes. Felt comfortable racing despite being sick and knowing performance would not be great.

  • Comments: This is the traditional end of the season race around here. Most everyone does it and it's just like a big party. Last year I went 1:13:39. This year 1:08:50, good enough for what turned out to be second in the Clyde 225+. Say what you will about the various Clyde age groups, getting on the podium is a goood thing :)

  • Comments: I think they could improve the bike course by limiting some parking and the run course by setting up the entrance better (see notes above). Also would like more info on the website prior to race (age division detail)

  • Comments: Nice local race. Went very smoothly. It is definitely a small time event and the race director emphasized that this isn't a place to set a record and I think most people took it to heart (there are always some hardcore folks that always have to go 100% all the time). Last triathlon of the season for me and I am looking to go back and PR at them all next year. I was secretly shooting to be in the top 1/3 of my age group which would have required shaving a minute and 40 seconds off which I can easily do next year. I want to graduate to a FMOP (front middle of the pack).
