  • Comments: Funny how an event in Appleton, Wisconsin can kick the crap out of what they do in Vegas. I cant remember enough about Madison to compare, but thought this was very well run with lots of volunteers, aid stations where they all dressed like TV themes and a pretty nice course. I cant say I could fully appreciate everything as I was focused on the goal at hand (which also makes for a boring race report, so thanks if you stayed around this long) but I never felt out in the boonies or unsupported during this like I did during Vegas. Two thumbs up to match the width of the blister on my right middle toe. Damn that hurts!

  • Comments: 23 water stops along the race was great. Plenty of water. They also had gatorade at the water stops. Course was well marked and police at all intersections stopping traffic. The course was very well done.

  • Comments: 23 well stocked aid stations, including 2 with food and several with fruit/food, 4 or 5 medical tents, TONS of enthusiastic volunteers, lots of shuttles for racers AND spectators. Decent goody bag included a finisher's tech t-shirt. Post race food was limited in variety but there was plenty of it. I would HIGHLY recommend this race!

  • Comments: Race was put together pretty well. Lots of entertainment during the race...cheerleaders and make-shift zoo - stuff like that. Water stops were about every 1.3 mi or so and they also had 3 gel stops.
