  • Comments: The race started off crap, but then I felt better on the cycle and was happy with my run, so it was kind of onwards and upwards. My heart really wasn't in it today and I allowed myself to become demoralised easily. We all have these times don't we, I'm not really that bothered, I'm just putting this down to experience. I think I'm a bit triathlon-ed out for the minute. This was my last planned race for the season and I'm glad its over, I'm now looking fwd to some pressure-free training! Unless this HIM in a team swim thing goes ahead ... :)

  • Comments: Last years time was 43 minutes, this year 38...quite pleased with that, couldn't hope to take much more time off than that over such a short race. This was a good social event, all types out there trying which is good to see...I have been dragging a mate to swimming, on rides etc etc for the last 6 months, he did this as his first tri and had a ball...so it was a good day.

  • Comments: Its a fun race to do with so many new people doing their very firs tri. and it was alot bigger then when I've done it before. the organisation was again not great but I think it was better then some of their other races! I was pretty disappointed with the presentations being messed up! waited around when I could have been on the bike riding back home. Oh well.
