  • Comments: I really liked the way the course was laid out. Good weather, plenty of drink stations and volunteers (water only). Scenic, and a good mix of young, old, fast, and not so fast. Given the locale, there is potential for an awesome post-race expo; I just felt the elements weren't all there.

  • Comments: Any race I do I am pleased. I decided to do this race when I got up in the morning. I didn't have the results I wanted but you sometimes learn more from 'failure' than 'victory'. My running has mostly consisted of going out at a fairly slower pace and just getting miles in. I used to mix fartlek and tempo runs in but I have gotten a bit lazy incorporating that into my program. Will need to do that as I build towards the NY Marathon.

  • Comments: Second time around for the organizers of this race. Good decision to start the 5K and 10K separately. Much better set up for the expo, too, and a high quality cool-max shirt (thanks, Nike).

  • Comments: First year for this race. The event was well organized and a lot of fun I would definitely do it again next year.
