  • Comments: I love this event. I get to spend some time w/ my co-workers, some of whom were nice enough to congratulate me on the weight loss and for running the course. It feels really good to be reaping the rewards of my hard work. I took some pictures which I will post as soon as I can. I look so different in the pictures. I can't believe my life. It just felt really good to be out there doing my thing and not giving a crap what anyone thought and listening to my music... I can't help but think of the ones who are no longer alive... and how easily I could've been one of them. I'm so grateful.

  • Comments: 20,000+ attendants! Very hot and humid, more than previous years. The 2nd Ave bridge was up!!! Caught the lead runners. Bridge reopened just before my arrival. Legs were heavy from biking twice earlier in the week. Was a great time at the tents after the race!!
