  • Comments: They need a new timing company. Not to mention the chip itself was mounted on a plastic thing that cut into my skin. blech. Other than that, this is a great local race with lots of volunteers! (in the photo, I'm on the right. #1 never showed so #3 and I shared the spot for the pic)

  • Comments: I overheard that they'd had to cancel the swim 3 of the last five years--which leads me to think that some alternate decisions need to be made. But people were very nice and helpful and the race officials were a very active presence.

  • Comments: There were some issues with traffic at the intersection before turning onto Nash's Road. And their website is not good. For example, I had no idea I could pick up my packet yesterday. But the race was well organized, and the course was very clear with plenty of volunteers. Can't wait to do this race again.

  • Comments: Very fun event. Things are a little confusing with the swim loops and a 4-loop bike course that's running at hte same time as a 2-loop sprint race but they do a good time keeping everyone on track. My one issue, and one I wouldn't have noticed had I not been hurt, was in finding medical help post-race. There was no tent, I asked a few people and no one knew, I just had to go find the medics, who weren't at the ambulance parked on course. They were extremely nice and helpful, but having a tent or at least a good way to find the medics would have been nice. Other than that, great race, it's a fun and challenging course and the volunteers were fantastic and cheering the whole way around.

  • Comments: Great location, very family friendly, small race with both a sprint and oly distance race, nice post race food, easy for family to spectate and parking is easy. Staying at Hampton Inn was 2 miles from race site and easy. Nice race...will do it again.

  • Comments: I raced it last year and loved it, so I don't know why my performance felt so mediocre this year, but I'm sure it had nothing to do with the race itself. It was all nicely done.

  • Comments: Thought the race was great, well worth my trip to Greenfield. The Volunteers were great. I have done many TRIs that the volunteers end up leaving before the last runners come through. The motivational words on road of the hill were a real lift at a tough part of the race. thanks to all the Volunteers that stick with us finishers.

  • Comments: Perhaps bike support could really mean bike support, not just a ride back to transition. Overall, I had a bad day, but still enjoyed this race/course. Would consider doing it again next year, though the club championships won't be held here.

  • Comments: This is a fantastic race that the entire community gets behind. If you want a small tri (about 200 sprint, 200 int'l) in a pretty place then I suggest you come on out to Greenfield for the first week-end in August.

  • Comments: This was a beautiful course! I can't wait to do this race again next year. Directions online to the race site were a bit screwy, and the meeting last night to review the course never happened. Transition was well-planned, and there were many water stations; I would have liked one more Gatorade station. Post race food was soy burgers (?), meatless hotdogs (?), veggie salad with broccoli and cauliflower (?), and lasagna. Where were the beef burgers, green salad, and cookies? That truly, was my only complaint, and I'm a foodie, so I'm probably being over critical.
