  • Comments: final race for one of the organizers; introduced to the new one. I like this race a lot; it's nice distances and routes, well organized, and good cause. I saw a fellow with a SERIOUS tre bike -- asked him why this race? He said he's fond of it, it's a nice race, well run, nice course; he's done it a dozen times or more.

  • Comments: race start delayed by half hour because of heavy weather the volunteers are plentiful, cheerful, & helpful post-race activities: food, music, awards. What else is there?

  • Comments: great race for newbies. great volunteer support. as i drove out, i saw a few stragglers coming in... and you know its a newbie race when you see two chicks on the run who decided to play with a barn kitten by the side of the road LOL. I mooed at a couple of cows but my competitive side would not allow me to stop to pet them. ;) LOL

  • Comments: Geared towards beginners, short distances, plenty of assistance available. Times / distances are off, race was shortened due to heat. My wifes first tri, wanted to give it a whirl.
