  • Comments: As Mark and I left transition with our stuff a woman stopped me and said something about me really putting the pedal to the metal on the run. I thanked her and then she grabbed my face and kissed me! Ha, ha that was quite the surprise! Never had that happen at a race. The race was pretty small which I think may be b/c it is a new venue and b/c we have so many races to choose from in Florida. We are very lucky. I really think this is a fantastic venue (do you remember my bathroom description?!) and will do this one again.

  • Comments: Only 2 lifeguards during the swim, no security at transition set-up, no one at bike mount area which resulted in people just riding in and out past the mount/dismount point, no check upon removal of bike from transition. Contacted Multirace with no reply.

  • Comments: I felt great about the 20mph avg for the bike. Overall pleased with my race time - fastest one yet - especially with my limited training prior to the race. now its time to begin the 1/2 iron training. off to bigger (and better?) races!

  • Comments: Well organized race. Still wish it would have chance to host on Singer Island in the future though. This venue is too short a course.

  • Comments: Water stations were plentiful, but there's nothing worse than grabbing a cup of water that's at air temperature. Also, my timing chip was malfunctioned because they didn't have my times initially so I'm not sure where they got the times they posted. My times from the Garmin were 8:07, 35, 31. Bike and run even out, but the additional 2:00 on the swim kept me from outright winning my group.

  • Comments: GOod race, but it took foreevr to get the awards ceremony going - and then when it was going, the guy took FOREVER to go through the names (I didn't have an award, but Matt got first in age group, YEAH!!!) Other than that, very nice and very hot...it was 77 when we started, and by the time we finished, it was 88 degrees...HOT!!

  • Comments: I'm very happy overall with everything. These races are as much a social event as a competition and I always enjoy chatting with my tri-buddies.

  • Comments: not enough cold drinks in the finishing area, the location was nice right on the ocean so there was a breeze which made it much cooler than the other locations, humidity was lower
