  • Comments: Overall, it was a good race, though my swelling ankle was the phantom harbinger of doom. I tackled my run leg, whereas I've never in all previous tris (all three of them) been able to run the entire distance.

  • Comments: This race was so cool. Everyone was so chilled and relaxed. The RD kinda just let things happen. It was cold so people were sluggish moving beforehand so instead of barking orders he just let things happen. We started late but it gave the time for the sun to come out and warm things up. No one cared. Great volunteers on the run course. Aid stations at mile 1, just beyond mile 2 and at mile 3.25 (turnaround). This worked. There are no bottle exchanges.

  • Comments: 2nd race down. 2 more to go. Now I'm somehow starting to believe I an finish this beast...and going into race 3 I'm tired, but iced, full of good food, hydrated, and haven't blown out all my energy on the early race Saturday. I like my chances. :)
