  • Comments: Second year doing this uber-short sprint. Very well organized. One minor caveat: The bike is listed as 6 miles, but the official results put it as 5.85 (which agrees pretty much to what my Garmin watch got).

  • Comments: Been considering the Long Course here for years (now the "SB35") but I've never found the time. I'm not crazy about the open streets on the bike course: We were held up repeatedly by traffic.

  • Comments: pretty location, not much surf. Good training for pushing hard (since it's so short).

  • Comments: Good race. Would do it again in the future, but would probably opt for the coed race instead of the womens race. Lots of fun since it was so short! Didn't have to worry about holding anything back.
