Comments: HR was awfully high throughout (AVG 177). I set a new HR max (194) - although I didn't feel like I was working that hard. What would you do differently?: I need to do more timed distance runs to see what my HR should be during these runs. I was a little concerned in the first miles when my HR held steady around 178. Post race Warm down: Stood around drinking water, gatorade and eating yogurt. Not the best warm-down. What limited your ability to perform faster: I'm not familiar with where my HR should be on these runs. Even if this is right, it seems high. Especially considering two forms of HR measurement say my max HR should be either 185 or 179 (from my HR monitor test). Event comments: Definitely a race I'd do again.
