I've only ever seen them used in a water aerobics or running rehabilitation program with aquajogging or similar.

I've never once that I can recall ever seen someone "swim" using one of these belts, and I can't see the point.

I have one that I used when I had an injured leg and couldn't run. I used it for a couple weeks.
