LOG FEATURES (AS OF 11/29/04)

  • TOTALLY FREE!!!! - except 'Planned Training' and the 'Equipment Tracker' - you will have one week upon sign-up to freely evaluate, after that you will have to become a susbscribing member...see details here
  • Ability to Log Run, Bike and Swim Data - Your weight, HR, distance (km, mi, yards, meters), time and automatic pace calculations (km/hour, mile/hour, km/minute, mile/minute, min/100 yards, min/100 meters, min/1500meters). Also record comments for overall day and comments for each discipline.
  • Log your Strength Training. Dropdown of major muscle groups with respective exercises. Log #sets, min reps, max reps, min weight and max weight. Also record total time and comments.
  • Log your Nutrition Data...just a text box...for now.
  • Log your HEART-RATE training data. Be it HR zones, pace zones.
  • Log your HEALTH data - Hours slept, % Bodyfat, Weight, Fatigue, Sleep, Stress, Soreness, Resting HR, Overall Workout.
  • Log your other Sports Data with times spent on each and a comment box. Example...yoga, stretching, football, tennis...BIG list!
  • Bloggy-Style Viewing of your training log data. Will be...essentially...your customizable homepage. A 7-day view of data and comments.
    • Edit/Log training data
    • Comment on each others blog entries - 'Inspire Me!' Will totally keep you motivated and answerable to the board.
    • Cool mini-calendar to quickly go to a different week, month or year. Will shade certain days a different color depending on if you raced that day, triathlon trained, played other sports or strength trained.
    • Customizable - Data is taken form your 'Users' or 'Control Panel' data and displays 'ypur inerests' in your blog. Can add your 5 favorite weblinks PLUS add the 'equipment you use.' - Basically to so other veiwers can get to know you.

    • Pulls next two days of planned training and your next race.
    • Quick links to your 'calendar', 'week/month/year/graphing' reports
  • Graphing - Awesome capability! Graphs of average distance, time, total volume, health data and pace data over a daily, weekly or monthly time intervals. Able to custom-pick the time period to view. Infinite possibilties. OTHER LOGS are seriously more limited in the graphing department...try them...you will see. Graphing is important as it is much easier to spot trends in training rather than a listing.
  • Calendar View - A great view that can be the default view over the blog. Allows you to see the entire current month with run, bike and swim data with weekly and month summations BUT WITHOUT the comments. Will also display icons for races, strength, nutrition and sports data for a particular day.
  • Week, month and year reports. - Table style view of training data with pace and summations.
  • Log your Race Data COMPREHENSIVELY!!! Triathlons, Biathlons (swim/run and run/bike), Duathlons, Bikes, Swims and Runs.
    • Displays your race in an attractive, printer friendly report while having the ability to upload photos to that race and others can comment on your race.
    • Your race gets listed in the forum to get discussed (should you choose).
    • Lists all of your races on one list so they are easy to find and edit.
    • Integrates with blog and calendar view - your races will automatically be displayed as an icon or shaded box with a hyperlink in your calendar or blog view - total integration.
    • Easy to get race lists for other members...either through their discussion posts or '10 most recent race logs' or through veiwing their BLOG.
    • You don't have to use the training logs to use this feature.
  • RaceFinder...Pretty cool feature here people! This will be a searchable form to look for races that fit your search terms. This will get the data from EVERYONES 'Your Races' data. This is a 'historical' database...only for races already done. BUT this will display general features on that race plus an evaluation of the organization hosting it. The data served up will be linked to the specific individuals who ran that race and you will be able to see their full race report. THIS WILL BE A POWERFUL FEATURE once we get a lot of races in. This will allow you to better pick your races for the next year based on peoples race reports who already ran them OR be able to better prepare for a race by reading others reports. Example: can do a general search for 'Australia - Duathlons' or get advanced such as 'Australia - Melbourne - Triathlons - Olympic - August 2002'
