Comments: Had to wear my knee brace as my knee was still sore from a basketball injury the prior weekend but there was no way I was going to miss this race or take a chance my knee would give out. What would you do differently?: I would have picked up my pace sooner toward the end but didn't want to kick in too early - looking back I could have picked it up sooner to finish under 18 minutes but I took the conservative course since this was my first competition in 23 years and I have MS that I didn't want to aggrevate yet. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Changed into dry clothes, listened to the band What limited your ability to perform faster: My knee was still sore and I'm still 10 lbs over my ideal competition weight. Event comments: It was a fun way to get back into the groove of competition - well organized and fun with lots of personality - the host, Lance Romo makes this a fun event and its a great bargain for the entry fee as I came out ahead with the shirt - the give aways, the band, and the festive atmosphere - highly recommended Last updated: 2008-03-16 12:00 AM
