Grosse Ile Duathlon: We have air support.

We've got confirmation that we have fixed wing assets for Saturday's race on Grosse Ile. I will be sitting right seat in an undesignated light aircraft to shoot photos of you guys on the course. We will be able to push the lower limits of FAA altitude regulations on the south side of the island since, technically, we are over water and otuside the TCA of the airport at the far end of the course on East River road.

We also may have a light engine helicopter at our disposal for video and still photography. I will be shooting stills of you guys from whatever aircraft we are using.

This is going to be one of the most unusual events we've ever done- we have basically the entire airport to play with and the entire island as our bike course. A rare opportunity.
