What would you do differently?: Watch more closely what I ate the night before in order to not have stomach problems in the morning. Luckily everything settled by the time I left the house. ![]() Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Hit my goal range of 1:57-2:00, but mind was focused on 1:57. I think if I was 100% I would have reached it and placed in my age group. 3rd was 1:48.19 and 1st was 1:54.40. Event comments: There were two volunteers at the end of the race that didn't want to help me get my time chip off. Luckily as I started to bend down one of there supervisors came over to help me. The two girls were young highschool girls with attitudes. I don't think it had anything to do with the actual race. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ran it on my own to see how I would keep pace when alone Last updated: 2005-02-18 12:00 AM

Stretching indoors as it was cold and I was wearing shorts.
24oz of water and Grape Nuts cereal about 1.5hrs before.
I woke up with an upset stomach, but was able to get enough water so I wasn't dehydrate. I didn't feel 100% though.
Stretch inside. Used the first mile as a warmup.
