Comments: The course had rolling hills and was a little tougher than I expected it to be. I started out slow running with the girls for the first 2 minutes, but then I went faster. I pushed myself a little setting myself goals to pass a certain person in front of me. There were two guys with which I kind of raced together. We kept passing each other. At about mile 7 my left hip started feeling tight. I stopped and streched and it went away. Guess I should have warmed up and streched better. After that I slowed down a bit, because I didn't want to get injured. What would you do differently?: Warm up and strech before. Post race
Warm down: Just stretched and cooled down. What limited your ability to perform faster: Without the pain in my hip I would have been a little faster, but overall I'm super happy with my time. Event comments: Very nice race. Will do it again next year. Last updated: 2008-09-06 12:00 AM

Just met with everybody at the parking lot. Katie had already picked up my race number and Christine and Jill were there too.
Just ran down the hill to the porter potties. The line there was really long as always. Afters I ran back up the hill.
