Run
Comments: The run was pretty good. we went out around 6:30 or so the first mile, and raced it pretty well. pistol pete ran cross country in college (but hasn't ran much in 2 years), so he actually knows how to pace. we basically just held a good pace until the hill, died up the hill, recovered on the downhill and then started 'reeling in' the people in front of us What would you do differently?: Be in better shape? that is always my answer :) i'd say that i think i did well, and we paced it well. i would have liked to beat pistol, but he beat me by 5 seconds, not too shabby. Post race
Warm down: jogged around the parking lot for about 5 mins. this was the best idea ever. i never cool down, and my muscles hate me for it. What limited your ability to perform faster: traveling the day before, the startings of a cold, the chipotle, mcd's and sushi the day before :) and.. that is about it Last updated: 2008-11-21 12:00 AM
