Subject: 2009 ALS Indoor Ride-a-thon Welcome to the 2009 ALS Indoor Ride-a-thon website. As in the past the Blazeman Foundation for ALS is calling on endurance atheletes from around the world to join in the “War on ALS”. Get your own group of warriors together on February 7, 2009 and ride to raise awareness and much needed funds for ALS medical research. What: Ride as a team for a total of 16.5 hours, the time Jon “Blazeman” Blais battled in Kona. Ride the entire time or add up the total hours of all your riders, it’s up to you to set the length of your event and how it works. Where: Anywhere people can see you, inside or out. You want to raise awareness so get seen in a mall, a health club, a park or a store. And if you live in a warm climate feel free to organize a group ride to support the ALS Indoor Ride-a-thon. Why: To raise awarness and funds for the “War on ALS”. All funds will go to The Blazeman Foundation to raise awareness and advance the search for a cure for ALS. See more details |
