Warm down:

Got out of the cold - the temp dropped on us - I heard there were some snow flurries in the area. Put on some warm clothes and drove over to Hogpen Gap to watch the pros - it was so awesome to see the first climber after the pace car was Lance Armstrong.

Event comments:

A great idea to have this race for the public before the pros arrive in town.

Course: This race goes around Brasstown Bald the morning of the Tour de Georgia stage that ends on Brasstown Bald. It is very hilly, with one Gap climb (Jack's Gap) The police were parking the tdG die-hards as we rode by at 8:30 am - getting their spot for the 5pm finish.
