Subject: Pneumonia and training advice Ok, so I haven't missed a day of workout for more than 3 months. Yeah! I struggle with consistency and so this is huge for me. Unfortunately, I came down with a yucky cough the other day and the doc said I have pneumonia and told me I had to lay off the training for a while.
I asked my doc, point blank, how long until I could train again. I want to get back to a good consistency streak again asap, but I don't want to compromise my health. He just laughed and told me to give myself a day off.
So now what? Anyone else have to deal with this? I am assuming that I need more than just one day off. When can I train again? When can I race again? I have one scheduled for July 10. Will I be ready? |
