Pre-race routine:

First triathlon so I spent time asking lots of questions about what to do. People were all very helpful and friendly

No real warm up

Comments:

Water was cold but I got use to it quickly. Lots hydrilla and weeds...was like swimming through a fern bush in certain places. Overall I was very happy with my first tri swim. I was more physically taxed when I got out of the water than I expected

What would you do differently?:

I need a lot of work on proper swim technique

Not sure of the exact transition time....for my first Tri I was happy with it

Generally happy...did the bike on a MTB so I was happy with the above time which is an estimate since I did not accurately track my splits
