Subject: Solution for Exercise Cals in Nutrition Log

I did a quick search and didn't find this posted yet but I am probably duplicating (apologies in advance if so).

I track net cals as my daily goal (eaten minus those burned during exercise) and to get that # for the day I created a 'custom meal' called Exercise and set it to -10 cals (nothing else). Then I create a meal, add it as the only item and multiply the # of servings to achieve the total # of cals burned (based on my HRM type info). When BT's nutrition section totals out your cals for the day, the negative # is subracted and you get the net total (along w/ the correct %'s of whatever else your tracking, carbs/prot/fat).

I hope this helps others out there who are doing the same thing. I know the BT staff has some plans for upgrades to the nutrition section of logging (later this year?) which should include cals burned for exercise. Until then.. this might be a good trick to use ~
