Subject: Post Race Hammy TightnessHi there, I just finished up my firt tri (Black Fly Tri in Waterville Valley NH ) and it was amazingly awesome. Cant wait for my next one in 2 weeks! My concern is I am already antsy to get traininig again in the 2 weeks between races. My right hamstring feels a little tight though. I can walk and jog pain free but sometimes when I bend a certain way (forinstance touching toes ) I can feel a little stiffness / ache. Is this something I should just leave be and rest for another day or would it be ok to go out for a run (short run ) this afternoon with plenty of stretching thrown in? |
