Announcement: WInter Begone Duathlon Discontinuing

Greeting BT Friends,

We wanted to send out notice that WIN Multisport Events, LLC will discontinue the Winter Begone Duathlon. This decision has been a difficult thing for me. This duathlon was our very first multisport event. We had a fun time in the first year. Both years we dealt with Mother Nature's fury. We hoped the event would gain in popularity, but I can't blame people for not wanting to participate in bad weather. For next year we will focus on the 3rd Annual Hy-Vee Rochesterfest Triathlon, the 2nd Annual Waseca ThirdIron Triathlon, and the 5th Annual Treadman Duathlon. I have hopes for a great finish to the 2009 season and we plan to make our premier events even better for 2010.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Winter Begone Duathlons in 2008 and 2009! It was fun while it lasted.
