Subject: Training transition from century to triathlon
I did my first triathlon back in May (the 29th), after which I started taking swim classes and training for 2 century bike rides. For the past 2 months my primary focus has been the century rides. Last weekend was the first and next weekend is the second. Then, I have another triathlon in site for October 3. That gives me 2 months to focus on triathlon training. I have Gale Bernhardt's book (Triathlon Training Basics) which I may use for the next 2 months, but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on transitioning from century training to tri training.

My current plan is to continue my swim classes, up the running, down the biking. Pretty obvious stuff. But, what can I do to exploit the endurance and strength that I have on the bike (both centuries involve 7000 feet of elevation gain and are completely above 5000 feet - I live in Colorado)?
