Subject: Help - Bike position Knee pain
My first sprint tri is Sunday

Last Sunday I moved my seat forward and fliped my stem to lower my handlebars.  My ride was a little slow, I think due to my long run the day before.

Last night I took out a spacer to lower handlebars further.  I had my best ride ever.  Then I tried to run a little and had a pain in my knee I had never had before.  It was on the inside of my lower knee, it felt like the joint was loose.  I had done several bricks and even a complete practice tri before.

I had read somewhere that a seat too far forward or back could cause knee problems.

Should I move my seat back to the rear where it was or just hope that is just a one time occurance?

The picture is before I took out the spacer.
