Pre-race routine:

got there early, set up transition, did a slow jog, then just hung out with people I knew to stay calm. Prior to swim start (while I was waiting in water with my wave) stuck face in water & breathed out

felt slow, didn't have watch/HR monitor on, nor were there mile markers so had no idea how I was doing. Ended up running faster than I have in quite some time
