Anyone else getting tired of the "Pay it Forward" abuses?

I have my account set to notify me whenever a new post come up in the Pay It Forward classifieds threads.

I am starting to get frustrated with the off-topic posts.

Maybe 1 post in 10 is actually someone giving away something now.  The rest are:

1) People ASKING for donations, even though the heading has been recently reworded to specify to NOT do that

2) People stating "PM sent".  Really?  Why do you need to publicly state you sent a PM? Counterintuitive.

3)People posting "me too" or "me next" posts.

and less obnoxious, but still resulting in update e-mails being sent:

4) Thanks yous or other follow-ups.

Perhaps the PIF could go to a moderated format, or even better some sort of "flag" added to the posts so that non-giveaway posts get filtered out of the auto notification system. Maybe put thank yous in another thread.

Not a huge deal either way, but a day-to-day annoyance.
