Swim
Comments: I was 57% out of all women What would you do differently?: I would learn how to do the kick turns at the end of the lanes. I would wear good goggles. I would register early so I didn't have to swim last. Transition 1
Comments: First of all, you had to run all over God's green earth to get to the transition. I lost my bike because I was nervous and it was knocked over. I had a snack and I was really glad because my food was messed up. I put my shorts on while I was wet, which wasn't good. I ran barefoot, which I would probably do again... What would you do differently?: I would make sure my transition area was better. I would wear shorts into the pool instead of trying to put them on. Bike
Comments: I was 70% out of women overall. Transition 2
Comments: don't remember much about the transition here.... Run
Comments: I was pretty tired on the run. Also, it was four miles, which I thought made it harder. It was a beautiful run though through the campus park area. I enjoyed it. I was 84% overall for women What would you do differently?: Just keep on keeping on is the motto for me on the run. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: The food situation was a big factor I think on me being tired during the run. Event comments: Looking forward to doing this one again next year and improving my time. I hope I am going to kick ass! Last updated: 2005-06-26 12:00 AM

Age Group Rank = 9/12
I didn't register until the day before so I had to start in the last wave of swimmers. I didn't realize how this would affect me until the day of the race. I didn't start until an hour after the race time, so my food was all messed up.
Out of all contestants, I was 168/182 or in the 92%
I was 87% out of women and 75% in my age group.
